101 uses for mouthwash

101 Uses For is popular and let's hope it stays that way. Our second book is presently called 101 tips for self sufficiency; we will certainly dip into this section for ideas. So post away and let's try and get at least one thread up to 101.

101 uses for mouthwash

Post: # 246841Post Thomzo »

Hi
The dentist insisted that I use mouthwash so I bought a bottle of Corsodyl but it gave me mouth ulcers so I can't use it. Anything else I can do with it?

Is it anti-bacterial? If so I guess you could wash veg in it, or work surfaces :drunken:

Oooh nasty, I have exactly the same reaction to corsodyl.
No idea what you could do with it thought, sorry.

Wonder if it would be good for taking the sticky glue of jam jars? If so - the mind boggles at what it does to your mouth! :pale:

Glue the cap on and leave it in a prominent position in your bathroom. Then, every morning, you can shake your finger at it and say "Let that be a lesson to you!"

You'll feel much better.

Thanks, Bells. My dentist told me I was being stupid and it couldn't possibly be the mouthwash giving me mouth ulcers. I feel so much better now I know someone else has the same problem. I'm sorry it's you though. They're horrid when you get them.

Cheers
Zoe

Tom Jones has an interesting use for it, which puts an entirely new spin on oral hygiene

Follow that!.. You probably know anyhow, but it b*****s up septic tanks,so if you've got one, don't spit the green stuff down the sink.
( Sorry about that at breakfast time, but I owe you one for the bog paper thread).

Oh cool, thank you. I'll try that.

Thought I was doomed to putting up with the ulcers or wasting it.
