I know it's been a while since I was on here and this is a cheek but we're selling a little bit of paradise to finance our new house around the corner so to speak.

Completely 'off grid' powered by the wind with land available for those who want. If it is possible to be self sufficient anywhere it's possible here. The sea and its riches are on your doorstep, mushrooms abound, the place is alive with edible wildlife and land is available for growing or husbandry by separate arrangement.
Check out my blog for more info and pictures of the 'good life'.

Lovely, I'd live there in a heartbeat. Shame we haven't finished/sold the other place yet.

Nice part of the world you're in too Maggie, though it's many (30 ) since I was that far north. I keep threatening to go and visit Loch Eribol again with my son. If I'm ever up that way your 'Craft village' will certainly be on my 'must see' list.
Macedonia Demi, definitely can't compete with that
Must visit here more often chaps, it's been years, we ate Ginger (the Tamworth boar in the Avatar) last year. We got him from Stonehead, does he ever visit these days, how time flies. I've lived in that wee house 23 years and it only seems like yesterday.
Cheers, Paul

Re: Croft house for sale
Hi Tessy,
we did think about letting just to keep it in the family so to speak as the 'wee hoose' holds many happy memories but it's a case of needing the money to build our dream house completely powered by wind, sun and water.

The shed is finished now we need the money to build the house in that walled area on the left.
So it's out of the house and into a caravan for us
Cheers, Paul
