Green Tomato Cake

Had loads of green tomatoes at the end of season, so Her indoors, found a recipe for Green Tomato Cake, on Allrecipes.com. ours ended up like a slightly soggy bread pudding, so we had our with custard. Good stuff, had two helpings

Thanks, it's a bit late now and anyway we had no tomatoes, green or red, this year whatsoever due to the blight. But I've made a note for next autumn to try it out!

mum makes one similar to this, no pecans and grate, don't blend the toms.
Green tomato chocolate cake is the best!
Word of warning; it molds fast in the tin, another word of warning it is unlikely to remain in the tin long enough to mold.
