Rhubarb recipes ?

Post: # 274035Post skeast »

It is looking like we will have lots of rhubarb soon, first picking planned for today. Anyone got any recipes to share ? Ian planning crumble with some granola in topping and maybe some streusel muffins. Any other ideas please.

I stewed mine with brown sugar, Blueberries and cinnamon yesterday and it is lovely!

Raw dipped in sugar is sweety heaven!

Enjoy...

No I won't use a smiley because I've decided to turn into Boboff, as he's turned all nice all of a sudden. Grumble grumble.

Stew 'till soft, add some sugar but leave it still quite tart,Blitz 'till smooth, serve as a sauce over baked mackerel or similar oily fish(fresh sardines if you can get them.) Lovely.

Stew up, no sugar, add strawberries towards the end of the cooking time, just to soften them a bit. Lovely.
