What are we all having for dinner?

You all seem to be such proficient chefs. Well here is a place to share some of that cooking knowledge. Or do you have a cooking problem? Ask away. Jams and chutneys go here too.

Let me know how they go (Aurora) - might try them next year.

Spring greens in cheese sauce tonight. One of my favourite suppers - so much better than cauliflower cheese, although I don't turn my nose up at that either

Buckwheat for my memory (here's hoping!), kale tops and some leftover pork trotters in sauce. No spuds, they are running out ....

With onion, beetroot, cooking apple and mushrooms of course.
Would have been fine with more cookers, more mushrooms and no kalesprouts at all!

The dinner we have on a regular basis at this time of year every year, when the garlic is very nearly ready to harvest.
Breaded chicken breasts with wet garlic white sauce, new potatoes and roasted butternut squash.
All home produce of course (except the flour, cream and a little olive oil)

First proper meal from allot today , everything late. I think I am going to have a bit of a gap as I missed chances to put stuff in because of the weather and I am now regretting not having a go at sowing.
I will enjoy fresh roasted beet, carrots ,potatoes , shard and courgettes tonight along with my chicken.
If I get the stuff in that is growing one bathe back yard it might not be too bad a gap.
