Nettle soup, or other recipes ?

Just picked my first, small, bag of nettle tops, very tiny, whilst walking the dog this morning. Excited to make nettle soup tonight to share with a friend tomorrow.

Anyone got any other ideas or recipes ?

I like mixing nettles (and/or other greens) with soft cheese as a pie filling.

I've just added some nettles to a parsnip 'ale', but even if you're not doing daft experimental brewing, I think the nettle and parsnip combination is a good one.

I also thought that you could try and make pasta verde - usually you would use spinach, but it might work with nettles.

Nettle beer is supposed to be very good, although I've never tried it myself. If you don't have much experience then nettle wine is much easier to make, I've got a gallon of it sat ready to bottle when I have a chance.
