Reishi?? need help identify

HI i live in oregon and think i found a reishi mushroom but im not positive. has dark red at base becoming orange/yellow and white spores on the bottom. I believe it is a Ganoderma oregonense can anyone confirm that? Thank you cant seem to upload the photos though. i found on a fallen log.

G. oregonense is not a European or Asian species (AFAIK). It is certainly a ganoderma though, and closely related to G. resinaceum, which is what I believe to be "reishi". So the answer is yes, or very close relative.
