You're right OJ, I'm pretty sure I slept through all of the 70's, that's the only explanation I can think of.

Ah yes - the 60s. Towards the end of that decade I began to put denim gussets in the legs of my cords. 1969 was my first long hair and beard year. After that I remember very little.

Towards the end of that decade was the death knell for my fun days, I got married in 1969 :shock:
That's probably why I have little recollection of the 70's, I was far too busy earning enough money to pay a mortgage, and support a wife and family. In those days of course working mothers were relatively unheard of.
Doesn't seem that long ago, but OH insists it's our 45th wedding anniversary this September.

The end of the 70s was pretty good - as was the 80s, 90s 00s ...... and it's even better now, because I'm not too busy working or partying etc and I can potter in my garden.
