I've got an advertisement on this page for Lalvin wine yeasts .

This is the first EVER advert which has appeared on Ish which is in any way related to my browsing habits. About bloody time, Google! This calls for a drink of yeast juice.

I was musing to myself, while chopping vegetables earlier, that a thread on what ads people get would be quite amusing. Until you told me how to switch it off for Ish, Adblocker has prevented me seeing any. When I disabled it I was staggered by the accuracy of the targeted ads.

I'm getting ads for Serrano hams (I bought one in Lidl last month - for half the price in the ad ) and free solar panels. Unfortunately the solar panels company only operates in England.

Accurate my backside. I've only just realised where my "strange" adverts come from. I do read a good few 3d modelling sites and so see a lot of models of all kinds.

I keep getting the same advert to "fly to Cambridge for €69", why I don't know, I've never been to Cambridge, don't know anyone who lives there and hate cities.

I get that as ordinary email spam, but it does all get caught in the spam filter. The ones that amuse me are "Hot girl looking for fun 2.3 miles away" (or more explicit)
Now I live well out in the sticks and there are 6 houses within 2.3 miles of me, and I would be interested to know who it is.

Well sort of, as out of those 6 houses there are none that has a "girl" under 50 living there, hot or otherwise.
