Toothbrushes

Post: # 28689Post Andy Hamilton »

I have been looking for an adult toothbrush that is made from natural materials and can't find one anywhere. There seems to be child ones out there or antiques made from bone or whatever, not an adult one. Most places seem to recomend that one that you only buy the head of, still plastic though.

I recently found a solar powered rechargeable toothbrush... not natural materials though.. still plastic.

http://www.squeakymonroe.com/test.asp?familyid=1031 - they have a wooden toothbrush with natural bristles AND they stock a recycled plastic toothbrush... now to find a UK supplier

Can't find anything sensible about making your own, but there must be something possible? Will do some more research I think, could be interesting.

I found an all natural toothbrush. The name of the toothbrush manufacturer is Brooks. Here is a link to show you one. Maybe you can call some natural stores and ask if they carry it. Good Luck!

i'm almost tempted to buy a bit of twig...has anyone tried it yet?

Its a shame the lime flavour is sold out...might have to go for cinnamon (unflavoured twig doesn't quite appeal!!)

from what i could see, you have to chew it to make it into a brush...a bit like when you chew liquorice root.

oooh, i am so tempted to ty it!!

I can't find out what their postage prices are though...any idea?
