Ethnic Clothing online stores?

Post: # 287492Post happyhippy »

Hi all,
My wardrobe is getting abit thin on the ground, and I'm wondering if anyone uses an online shop for alternative type clothing.I have in the past brought some clothing from festivals(not going to any this year unfortunately!),Used Nomads (Getting abit pricey and mainstream!)and don't particularly want to use Ebay (I dont have an account).Needs to be reasonably priced!Any idea's would be brill,TIA.

I love Joe Brown's stuff - nd they do them in my size too!. I sometimes think they might be a bit young for me though - I'm 60 this year. :(

You are a pair of children you are. Mind you should see the older folks up here. There's a good sprinkling of well aged hippies. Keep the faith and do your own thing!

lol Well Flo....I'll take that as a compliment ;) I've actually toned down my clothing style as I've matured.I used to dress like I'd just arrived at the Woodstock Festival.....long cheesecloth dress, headband? You get the picture right?hahaha I recall once,I'd recently moved to a small country town (South Aust)and my parents came to visit.I was dressed in my "alternative"clothing, and my parents suggested we head down town for a walk?I agreed.....but my Dad said he was walking on the opposite side of the road to me if I went dressed as I was?lol

You'd do just fine in the hills up here dressed for Woodstock happyhippy!

Which reminds me - spotted my first ever steampunk clothes over the weekend and thought I could just be a teenager again!

Might frighten the sheep, though...

Steampunk, - what's that? New to me...

Actually, I often wonder what happened to some of the weird and wonderful clothes I used to wear. Now I regret I lost them somewhere along the lines of life.

Thank you!

I don't have the waist required for most of those outfit, methinks...

But interesting, if not very practical for mucking around in the garden.
