tales of the green valley by stuart peechey

Post: # 34139Post Andy Hamilton »

I have been sent a review copy of this from the publishers. I also got phoned up by Stuart the other day as he is going to sign a copy for the present competition.

I thought that as I am going to meet the author I would have to say I liked it no matter what. I am however presently surprised. I did not see the TV program but I don't think it matter as that seems to be a very small part of a very ambitious project.

The book is a good read which covers life as it would have been in the green valley.

It was a really good TV series. Quite a rarity these days!

I was the Producer/Director of the series. Delighted to hear it went down well.

Thought you might like to know that you can find some other articles I've written about it on my website - http://www.petersommer.com/tv_tales.html

I haven't read the book yet, but watched every minute of the series, thoroughly enjoyed it, learned quite a bit. A wonderful, gentle, thought provoking and inspiring series. I bought the DVD - thoroughly recommend it. Try the library for rental first, maybe, but would defy anyone not to like it :cooldude:
