SO that ITV have ONE program (south bank show) that is sometimes half decent.

So Tony Blair can have another "friend"?Martin wrote:what is Melvyn Bragg FOR?
So quangoes find it easier to fill that "difficult to fill" vacancy with one of Tony's mates?
So the paper recycling industry can get a lot of books to pulp?
So that the TV industry has someone to Bragg about the arts?
Or just to p*** Martin off?
I'd plump for the last.

I think you are right and that must mean Cilla Black was invented just to p*** me off.Stonehead wrote:Or just to p*** Martin off?

Surely, it's Noel Edmonds -WHY? 'tis true Melvyn's a sicophant of the first order, and Cilla Black redefines the term annoying, but Noel gets right on my goat (although it's a very close run thing, with Anthea Turner, Philip Schofield and Eamonn Holmes all vying for second).
