Hi,

Is it 5 weeks to have them on the table ? not bad at all !

And I think they start laying at 8 weeks don't they ?

Some start at 6 weeks supposedly. They do mature amazingly fast.

No, we are raising them for eggs, and really just as an experiement for the incubator.

They are great to keep, not really noisey, they were at first, but after about 3 weeks they were much more quiet.

i had quails for a while.

I never could sex them. I was told that the wayto do it is to look at their chests, the females are less speckled than the males. Note, thats less speckled...they all have speckles. Apparently the female is more proper speckles, whilst the male is more stripyish.

I know that doesn't help too much, but its all i know!
