Does anyone know what happened to John Seymour, the author. The last I heard he was living in Wales with a self sufficiency group.

Sadly the great man has died about a month ago I think.
He has left a legacy that will motivate many generations to come.

I went into waterstones looking for Johns books the other day and they said he was out of print. The NEW book sounds interesting, is it an updated version of the 70's classic? So does this mean that John is back in print in this country??

A friend of mine picked up the updated version for me a few months ago and I must say, it is an excellent resource.

I was in the UK in early November and saw a few copies in one of those bargain basement book shops in a shopping mall in Romford, Essex, but cannot recall the name exactly.

I suspect you will have luck on Ebay, Amazon and even if you go for a 2nd hand copy, it will still serve you well.

Happy reading. 8)
