All my toms which were outdoor were hit by early blight this year. I was lucky to have 15 plants in the greenhouse which escaped. Most of the cherry varieties seemed to have the best resistance to the blight. I will also grow Ferline and Shirley.
I did gardeners delight... which even though the plants clearly have blight (in gh) are still cropping and inca - a plum variety which got blight really badly. i did still get q crop though as picked all the toms green and ripened in the house
dont think i shall be doing inca again, even tho the toms are lovely, but will choose something with blight resistance.

I like like minded people... a bit like minded anyway.. well people with bits of their minds that are like the bits of my mind that I like...
Tigerella has always been a favourite of mine, although this years yields are right down. Last year I got 20 stone of toms from 60 plants.
I tried Seeds of Italy's Red Cherry this year and will give it a go next year too. There are literally hundreds of flowes on each plant but few are fruiting down to the weather. Those that have fruited are fantastic.
Both Principe Borghese and San Morzano 2 were disappointing. Seeds of Italy packets have, in some cases 300 seeds in, so I am likely to giv them another go next year simply to use up the seed and hope that the weather is better.
I would also be tempted to try a blight resistant variety next year.
Gardeners Delight in containers outside this year ... only two plants but the one has kept me going for weeks, cropping really well and the other is totally different all leaf and no ripe crop ??? so will do gardeners delight and wait for further advise from here
