You are young at heart when...

101 Uses For is popular and let's hope it stays that way. Our second book is presently called 101 tips for self sufficiency; we will certainly dip into this section for ideas. So post away and let's try and get at least one thread up to 101.

Are they being rude to folks from Berkshire?
I lost this thread completely by the end of page one. I've absolutley no idea what people are talking about here. I think I may have found the foreign language section of the forum - it looks like English, but...
I agree, I mean can anyone put this into plain English?
I haven't seen "stop and tidy up" but I LOVE the trap door. My favourite was when there was something coming out of the trap door and Burk looks around says "ahh little Drut", picks him up and flings him at it!

Cracks me up - never saw the bonking time one but sounds pretty good

When you still love making sand castles at the beach (and yes I have a seashell and rock collection)

When you spend ages in the rain trying to get the puddles to drain one way using your boot to dig a trench

And I agree with Shirlz, you make the first snow angel before anyone else

And you still like tobboganning in the winter

When you'll still sit down with a group of little girls and play Barbie's with them

When you STILL refuse to eat beans-even though "They're good for you"

You have to point out a good tractor to everyone else...

You find your five year old's poo-bum jokes amusing (Must Try Harder at that one).

Sadly I am terminally middle-aged and can't think of anything else :?

You have another "teen-age" type rebellious phase when other people try to tell you how to live!

At the risk of sounding old, Ol Blue Eyes summed it up to a T:
For it's hard you will find
To be narrow of mind
If you're young at heart

You can go to extremes
With impossible schemes
You can laugh when your dreams
Fall apart at the seams

And life gets more exciting
with each passing day
And love is either in your heart
Or on it's way
