Hi all
I am new to all this computer gizmo but learning daily,
i have been a forrester for nearly 30 years now and worked all over our little but beautiful country, most of the time living where i work foraging and living off the land i must have planted millions of hardwood whips in my time and still enjoy travelling around to see how my trees are growing it is so satisfying watching them grow.
i enjoy growing my own organic veg and also turning it into organic wine the hedgrows locally are a treasure trove.
i just finished bottling some potent ginger wine cant wait :drunken: :drunken:
also cant wait to get started on the potent nettle beer.you have on this site, i really enjoy visiting it,
i am not a vegetarian but respect your strength and concience power to you as i hope you respect mine not to be. respect to all :thumbleft:

G'Day OTM!

I was lucky enough to activate your account the other day. I loved that you were a forrester, such an evocative occupation! Makes me think of quite rows of trees, open skies, wonderful stuff!

Welcome to SSish! I'm sure we'd all love to hear about what you've been up to.

hi old tree man, welcome to the site. I am new here as well but find it a really interesting site. Like to hear more of your story about being a forester - sounds fascinating - particularly foraging in the area you were working.
