Ok Here goes:

1. Played on stage at the Albert Hall (National Youth Brass Band Finals).
2. Driven from Swindon to Oxford in less than 30 minutes (emergency transfer of a neonate).
3. Delivered 18 babies.
4. I'm a black belt in origami.
5. Built an igloo which lasted for almost 2 weeks (Last winter 2009/10).
6. Learned to paraglide and have got to cloudbase by joining a buzzard in a thermal.
7. Learned to use a woodlathe. (Not proficient yet, but getting there).
8. Been first attender at a 50 car pile up in fog. (M4 nr Hungerford 1991). :pale:
9. Done a "Robin Hood" whilst archery target shooting (One arrow shaft down the inside of another, not in the bull unfortunately!).
10. Made a really cool walking stick from a sapling I'd planted.
Time flies like an arrow; vinegar flies like an uncovered wine must.

Not sure I can do ten...

1) Had my foot trodden on by Lord Olivier

2) Glenda Jackson make me a cuppa

3) Spent several afternoons talking tennis with Sir Peter Ustinov

4) Had a hug from Sir Cliff Richard

5) Spent a night in the BBC record archive

6) Was helped up after I'd gone A over T in the snow, by Noel Edmonds, in 1982 when he was still cute

7)Worked on Radio Luxembourg

8) Helped several different spicies give birth, including 'doing a James Herriot' with a few

9) killed my own dinner

(8 & 9 are probably shared with ISHers, but not most people)

and the one that annoys my teenage daughter the most;

10) had a xmas kiss from James Marster, long before he was 'Spike' in 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer'

Like most people I've done a lot of things I guess most people haven't done but the only thing that stands out for me is that I wrote the first computer game after that simple tennis game, it was the first interactive Starwars game. You had to use the keyboard, there were no mice in them days. I wrote it when working for the builders George Wimpey on the first desktop computer, a Hewlitt Packard (cost £18,000 in 1980!!).

The funny thing is that I completely forgot about it until 30 years later when someone I know, who is a computer professional, started talking about the old days and started describing this game that he said had transformed his boring computer programmer's life. It was my Starwars programme. Who distributed it and how many people it reached I don't know, but it is my only claim to fame.

Some seriously impressive experiences, good and bad!
My life is definitely more quiet and more boring...
But I should try anyway:

1- I had a cow named after me when I was a girl, in my small parent's farm.
2- I was an au-pair for a member of the London Symphony Orchestra for 18 months when I arrived in the UK, so I got to see a fair few concerts for free.
3- I have served a lot of famous and super rich people when I worked in luxury retail in London, including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Elle MacPherson, Yasmine Lebon (very very nice), The Royal Family of Denmark, The Duke of Westminster, Paloma Picasso, etc
4- I own a snooker queue that was used to play a friendly game against Jimmy White, but I wasn't the one playing.
5- I went to Christmas mass in the chapel of the Tower of London with someone who was a tourist guide in London. It was a great experience even if I am not religious... It was just so bizarre to be there so late at night without tourists everywhere!
6- I have read all 20 novels that form the saga : "Les Rougon-Macquart" by Emile Zola and I have them all, so I can always try to read them again one day...
7- I have walked most of the Monaco, F1 Grand-Prix track (with my husband) in the middle of the day in the middle of August, when it is truly baking.
8- I have visited the Cango Cave in South Africa and had to go through the "devil chimney" and "the letter box" which are passages no bigger than a foot and a half at some points!
9- I have seen Metallica 4 times in concert
10 - I am struggling now!!...
I know... This is stupid... But I have lost my favourite pair of sunglasses on one of the roofs of La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona when I visited it! I was so upset! But so happy to have seen this amazing building.
That is it, I have done it!

13. Got a bad case of fleas from a brothel in Chile.

14. Discovered money is only a tool, enough is enough

1. Finally got sober after 12 years as a raging dipso...(10 years so far of freedom from hangovers, and my 1st/2nd husband...)
2. Married, divorced, re-married (as a result of being a raging dipso..!)and finally re-divorced my ex-husband.
3. Tried Microlighting - freezing!I don't mind if I don't ever do it again.
4.Was a life model for a local evening class. None of the artists ever subsequently recognised me in T***o with my clothes on!
5. Bred Giant African Land Snails - not for food, couldn't grow enough garlic for the butter :pukeright:
6. Sat on Tommy Steele's knee when I was about 3. He was Britain's top rock'n'roll star at the time. What do you mean you've never heard of him?
7. Helped my now husband (is he number 2, or number 3?) find the half-siblings he didn't know he had until after both his parents died - they are wonderful people who truly enrich our lives.
8. Got hooked on genealogy and discovered among my ancestors a sailor who served in Nelson's navy, a tinsmith who became a Mormon, emigrated to America and had 4 wives and 22 children, and one who was sentenced to transportation to Australia, though I'm fondest of my Norfolk dairy farmers!
9.Succesfully escaped the clutches of the Civil Service (I worked in Court Security, and for the Inland Revenue, boo, hiss!) and dropped out of the rat race.
10.Met my wonderful Cumbrian-born husband, and discovered we both have ancestors from the same tiny Norfolk village!
Lots more, but unrepeatable...
We all have two gifts we should try to use as much as possible - imagination and humour.
Imagination compensates us for what we are not.
A sense of humour consoles us for what we are.
And wisdom tells us not to worry about it!

Spread over a fair period of time

1.Used my right hand to pull my trapped left hand out from the rollers of a large magazine printing press while it was still running (I guess you could say I appeared in Woman’s Realm that week..)

2.Naively (and in all innocence) carried a package through Turkish to Greek customs for someone who was nowhere to be seen on the other side. Left it at a hotel reception for her and shudder now to think what it could have held.

3.Flipped a race quad during Blackpool beach race and fractured a piece of bone from my spine.

4.Unaware of the extent of the injury, refused medical attention for the above and drove home to Nottingham (in agony).

5.Have two scars from two separate incidents, across the retina of one eye.

6.Saved our then four year old son from choking.

7.Crashed a paramotor and had a very lucky escape.

8.In a Scottish sea loch, zipped along for a few miles in a small inflatable boat as a school of dolphins show-boated almost within touching distance around us.

9.Sat very still early one morning while a wild sea otter nosed to within a few feet.

10.Traced the family history and discovered great granddad wasn’t quite who we thought he was.

All I have to say is there is some great experiences on here. I'll add what I can.
1. Have done 7 barrel rolls followed by 5 loop the loops with a fighter pilot from the gulf war.
2. Did not vomit on above trip.
3. Spent severel hours in a aircraft ( known as the vomit Comet) pulling 3G, although not constantly of course and did not vomit.
4.Gave birth to a dwarf whilst unconscious.
5. Riffiled through the Earl of Spencer's (lady Di's brother)belongings.
6. Met Lenny Henry, obviously on a bad day and told him he was one of the rudest people I had ever met.
7. Put a 16 year old in hospital when I broke his ribs. I found out he had raped his 13 year old sister, sick! I don't care if two wrongs don't make a right, some things are just wrong.
8. Read the scariest part of Stephen Kings Pet Cemetry during the height of the Great Storm.
9. Watched the Brixton riots from my bedroom window.
10. Did not get on the bus which was destroyed near the Aldwych by terrorists, as I had just gone on maternity leave.

Cool I managed 10, I didn't think I had it in me.

1. Had a conversation with a friend about how much we both fancied a premiership footballer only to leave the room and find him standing by the door - he heard every word!
2. drunkenly snogged my ex-boss (luckily at my leaving do)
3. Watched the northern lights outside a Sami tent in Norway
4. collapsed whilst teaching a geography lesson and got carted off in an abulance (that was embarrassing)
5. gained a certificate to prove I can safely "build and maintain a muck heap"
6. given up smoking
7. been sick in a cathedral during evensong (not my proudest moment but I was only 10 and I bet not many people have done that)
8. become addicted to watching Pointless this week (I'm watching it now - like Family Fortunes backwards!)
9. Made over 100 quid in tips in one night behind the bar (it was the NY eve 1999)
10. been bitten by a zebra at the safari park

1. I traveled from Land's End to John O'Groats (on holidays) by the time I was 6.
2. I camped for 17 days on Lundy this last summer, monitoring rhododendron clearance. I ended up sharing my tent briefly with a pygmy shrew.
3. I became the youngest ever senior lecturer at the University of Glamorgan at the age of 26.
4. I've been a paid extra in the Welsh soap opera Caerdydd.
5. I am a larper and have been in (albeit fake) battles of 2,000 people. Which is just nifty.
6. I drove with my dad and my OH from Alabama to Edmonton in Canada (over 4,000 miles) in just over 5 days, visiting Deadwood, Custer's last stand, the badlands and some other very cool places.
7. I discovered at the age of 23 that my great grandmother had a Dawes roll number, as did my great grandfather, along with several other relatives. The meaning? As it turns out, I'm a fair whack cherokee/choktaw/cree indian (native American, if you must).
8. I broke someone's nose once for trying to get down my friend's top at a night club, when she was telling the guy to naff off. It was my 21st birthday, too.
9. I saw the Edward Scissorhands ballet a couple of years ago. There were folks doing ballet in 4 inch heels. Impressive!
10. I played a victim being buried alive at a haunted house for halloween one year. Entry fees went to charity.

Sick off work and this looked good fun (albeit old)!

1) Lived in a shipping container with 6 other people, which was previously used to house the labourers that built the channel tunnel.
2) Got deported from USA and blacklisted for being a 'dubious alien' weeks after 9/11, aged 11.
3) Got arrested in Turkey by military police.
4) Travelled all the way across Europe and back in an old Lada Riva, and slept in it for 3 months.
5) Picked 6.5 tons of Bramley apples in 8 hours.
6) Eaten Reindeer liver and been polite about it.
7) Done a poo in a carrier bag.
8) Been winked at by Mike Patton.
9) Studied for the same degree as David Attenborough (Natural Sciences).
10) Can recite the Arabic alphabet.
