Welcome to the forum mate.

Was it the Boarders in Clifton? If so I was in there the other day and I moved that copy so that someone was more likely to see it..... I wonder?
Hey, yes it was ! So that was you, was it ? Well, thanks a million, Andy ! I am, even as we speak, making some of your wonderfully-sounding Coffee Wine...at 19%, I can't wait, even if it is for 6 months :( Your book may be in danger of changing my life and at 50, I wasn't actually prepared for any more changes but hey - I'm going to go 4 it :thumbright:

" And the best bit is you're in Bristol... so you can pop into Andy's co-op in St George! You'll have to come visit and say hello (Just don't go on a Wednesday morning as the girl there is really bad with the coffee machine... ahem) "

oh, I'd love to visit the shop, please ! Any chance of a cup of tea and a bickie ? Are you open on Sundays ? Also, as you are in Bristol, would you know where I can get hold of some cider apples ? Cheers - Rob

Ooops - I missed this one! Hi Rob,welcome and have fun! You are a lucky so and so living in Bristol - we are too far away to pop into the shop for a cuppa on a Saturday!

Well we serve Tea and cake and I work a Monday morning, so yep pop in. Not open Sundays I am afraid. I even have a drop of coffee wine left so I could bring that along and let you have a taster, potent stuff :drunken:

Oh wow - I am in the middle of making some of your coffee wine at the moment so could come along and see what the final product should be like ! I only put the yeast in a few days ago so it is still at an early stage.

Hi Milims and thanks for the welcome.........Bristol has its own problems like many other towns and cities but we are lucky to have some really nice green areas like the Downs in Clifton, and it is surrounded by countryside. Where are you, exactly ?

Whereabouts in St George are you, Andy ? I breezed through today on the way back from a work visit and couldn't immediately see it.......

Here's the thread with details and address of the shop:

http://www.selfsufficientish.com/forum/ ... 33&t=12727

It is small and on a corner and when we went there it wasn't exactly easy to spot as we were driving along that road!
