Gosh that would be a long way to come ... I only live 11 miles and I always think of it as an outing ...
Have you seen it at all since its been re-built ... again ... the ground must ache from rebuilds.

Hooray! I could take my mother next time I go to visit family (near Chesterfield) and it might distract her for a bit!Silver Ether wrote:If you live any where near Birmingham try out the Rag Market.

These are all brilliant, I am going to have a happy time looking at all the links. I love this, I might try doing ruffles on a tshirt.
Also this is a bit random, but - if anyone is wanting to knit socks, I thought I would recommend the first pattern I used (sorry, it only seems to be on ravelry, this is a ravelry link). It was easy to understand, and after that I went on to knit proper thin socks and I've been knitting them ever since, using the pattern from Getting Started Knitting Socks by Ann Budd. I normally find crafting books nice but not worth the money, because you can get most things on the internet, but this one was actually useful because it gives you instructions for all different types of wool in one place.
(I hope that all made sense, I am recovering from a bad cold and am rather dopey!)
