That's fantastic! It must have been worth the wait. As others have said, it is the perfect time to take one over.
I had my gall bladder out to aged 25- it was all keyhole and I was only sore for a couple of days, and back to normal within a week, so I am sure you will be fine. Gallstones are horribly painful I know, you will be so glad you had the op. I think it is genetic, as my mum had them at the same age - we don't eat dripping or anthing honest!
Ask to keep them though - mine were pretty, the looked like little black onyx tic-tacs, and there were LOADS of them. The woman next to me in hosp was going to make a necklace out of hers!!

Thank you so much for your lovely messages and your experiences. I have just heard that I am going in Sunday morning at 0900 hrs. Guess that rules out the normal Sunday lie in! Bonnie - I will now ask them for my gallstones back, perhaps I should post them to you so that you can make a double string necklace!

Hi All, thanks again for being so lovely. I can't wait to get started on the allotment. Hubby treated me to a surprise gift, the RHS Allotment Diary, as he knows how much I love nice new note books and making lists. So I have something to do now!
