I don't think it's about green fingers, tomatoes are a lot more about luck than anything else - so many problems like blight obviously but also temperatures/rain/watering etc. Much like our fruit trees it is hit and miss - some years good and some not so good, so to be celebrated during a good year.
It'll probably be you going nah na na nah nah next year Boboff whilst we scurry off to the supermarket to buy tasteless fresh tomatoes and tinned ones.
