1st President: George Washington,
Meriwether Lewis of the 1803 Lewis and Clark: Voyage of Discovery, and
General George S. Patton, of World War II fame.

Oh hard luck Minnesota, so now you will to put up with the same reams of rubbish in your papers and TV as they will for sure, the point out the connections ad infinitum, however glad you mentioned it, as there be so many tourist from the USA, coming in to their Kate marrying in to "THE ROYALS" that it will probably cure the financial problems of the UK

General Patton - oh god, there are so many roads round here named after him I'll be thinking of Kate every time we drive down them - NOT.

Our new ambition? to be in the REPUBLIC before the 'big day'!!!

We wish them all the happiness in the world; just as we do all newly weds, but we don't want to have to witness it!

Who? What? Why?When? I know that when my folks were young thing like this were huge - but quite frankly now is it really so earth shattering that two people who love each other want to marry - not matter how famous they are?
