Missed this thread!! Guess what I did on Monday? :lol:

Found one of these mills during the winter which is wonderful and makes the job so much easier of getting rid of skin and pips.

......and in case anyone is wondering :shock: :lol: :shock: , this is the remains of my frozen whole toms (big and cherry) now bottled, cos I needed the freezer space desperately.

Don't do water bathing, so long as tom sauce is boiling as it goes into very hot sterilised jars it seems to work a treat.

I don't know if we will ever get through all of last year's tomatoes though, as I have so much frozen sauce as well as bottled. :shaking: :dontknow:
