I got one several years ago on E bay and I am very pleased with it. Living in the Mid West of Ireland DAB is useless and so for quality the internet radio is brilliant and the available stations wonderful. A while back during the fires in Australia I was able to tune in to the local radio to find out about my brother's area (his phone lines were down because of the fire) I found this to be reassuring.
I wouldn't be without it.
Just bought a standalone internet radio, it's great.

Treat the earth well, it was not given to you by your parents, it was loaned to you by your children.

Thanks for the link to Amazon SE, have put it in my wish list. Dr Syn, thanks for the info, the Wizard was a bit sceptical that an internet radio would work here, but of course it would, the mobile broadband does, usually, except when the wind blows from the west, or there is fog

I've been tempted to get one for a while.
My laptop speaker aren't good enough to listen to radio stations...and planet rock has Alice Cooper and Rick Wakeman at ridiculous times in the morning on Saturday in the UK...which makes it a much more civilised time here :)
Do they do alarm clock ones?

FeeFairy, this little radio may be more convenient for you as it is small. But i haven't had one so i don't know what it's like. But the price is reasonable.
