Thanks Fee for the invite. The automated one came in about 24 hours later. I was automatically given a load of people to follow, some of my facebook friends and others I've never heard of, presumably based on my interests. Now having to delete them as I have little in common with them.

I can understand people being attracted by the 'pretty pictures' and I would have loved something like this 10 or so years ago when I was madly into those home and garden makeover programmes on telly! Don't so much care about decor any more.

I'm quite annoyed though that I can't get it to stop showing my stuff on facebook even though I've told it not to. I don't understand why you have to join up thru either FB or Twitter. What if you have neither account? I hate letting apps in.

I had never heard of it until I found I was getting hits on my website through a pinterest page where they had pinned one of my articles on a DIY bokashi bucket. Looks like a lot of fun and some really interesting stuff!

I quite like the pretty pictures . I've had hits from StumbleUpon and thought it was web trawler (crawler? not sure of this techie lingo) stuff, but found that Stonehead had put my blog up there. Thanks Stoney!

I like Pinterest better now I have worked out that I can upload a photo direct from my hard disk and it shows them up really well if you click on them, then it allows you to zoom in again.
