I suffer from psorisis too + have tried many things over the years.

I've had some success with a homeopath (but she was more help with the arthritis to be honest).

I'm currently trying a seaweed based product which is going well (disolve in bath type thing)

I think anything that is used in the bath will help as baths help you to relax and destress. Don't have the water too hot + use moisturiser when you get out (I use Aloe Vera).

A friend of mine went to a Chinese herbalist and got good results. It cost half a fortune, though. I had suggested to him most of those things mentioned above, but he wasn't going to try them - too cheap, so they couldn't be worth anything! And as for homeopathic remedies - he insisted on swallowing them, and wouldn't believe me that no, that was not the same as letting them disolve under your tongue... Argh!
Sorry, rant over. At least he did get rid of his psoriasis. The Chinese herbalist gave him nothing else but herbs etc, too. And I think he might have had some acupuncture as well.

Pity Scotland isn't really the right place to go sea bathing! My father always found that during the holidays on the Northsea coast all sorts of skin problems disappeared.

Hello all. New to this forum :)

I do not suffer the condition myself, but saw a tv program today where a guy here in Denmark had gotten a hold of 50 fish from turkey which he was breeding in a tank.

He then had a heated tank where he put in the fish where he could submerge, and did not feed them for a while.

They eat the dead skin off affected areas, and leave the skin smoother.
They're called doctorfish and supposedly works very well. They get no larger than 10 cm in length, so a small school of 120 doctor fish would be sufficient for the patient.
