Good grief Hedgie - I hope Ron Wood doesn't become self-suffiecientish. He'll probably sue you out of bean and bush! Unless that's...YOU! Eeeek!!!

Re. Tea Tree, (or Ti tree) it's NOT the source of tea but a tropical (found on Hawaii) plant which contains a very smelly oil. Tea actually comes from a variety of camellia called 'camellia sinensis'. If you use the leaves of the Ti plant for tea, well...ugh. Go for it. But don't ask me over for tea.

Hey digi.

i've got both types...The Camelia is on its way, and the tea tree is here somewhere (i think i've lost them...have to buy some more...).

Apparently the Tea Tree got its name because the settlers went over and tried to brew the leaves. When added to boiling water, they looked like tea, and smelt a bit like tea (smell some tea tree oil and think of black tea...) but they didn't taste like tea!!

Liquorice - I think I saw seeds of this (from the Eden Project range) in garden centres. Was tempted but lack space as it is for everything I'd like to grow.
