I frequently chuck in the old spuds I find chitting themselves.... I often get a nice wee 'mystery potato' harvest.

I have plants that don't look like weeds growing where I planted my spuds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HURRAY!
I might be getting a green thumb after all (since the tomato and chili are coming on nicely and I only killed 2 of my Camelias and not 5 as I originally thought and the mint has trippled in size in the last week - we had shite weather)

Hi Mike,
If you plan on growing potatoes from starter plants, then get them into your garden in the early spring. You'll want to give these plants plenty of room. My recommendation is to plant them a good 9 to 12 inches away from each other.
