I saw in the morning stood there in my nightie down the garden with my husband and the gloriously noisy birds
It was just lovely.
I missed the chance to go to much loved Long Meg & her daughters with friends because I was at a family funeral yesterday & could not travel - but I raised my cup to friends old new and absent & was very happy with that.
happy solstice
Love the art in yourself, not yourself in the art.
My morris side danced on Friday night, at an appreciative village pub. I went to Castlerigg and skulked around the perimeter, did a small and personal ritual, did not feel inclined to stay for the fire juggling (why?) or the therapeutic drumming so came back through the mist, dodging the bats who must have been drunk on life or had their radar switched off, and saw a heron in flight which always fills me with firstly suprise, then secondly pleasure. Hoorah. Then on Saturday we were meant to dance at a local event. The sea had decided to empty itself onto the surrounding land, so we decided against it. But I felt fulfilled having done something on the Friday, and saw the sunset. Wheee!
