Hello from a real infrequesnt visitor these days

This frost really caught me out- in the South East you can get pretty cocky about Easter time. Loads of stuff was out- squash (under fleece admittedly), french beans and tomaotes

I ran round putting hay and plastic bags over the french beans, fleece over the squah and potatoes but didn't even bother with the tomatoes, minus 1 was forecast and on an open allotment- well, no chance.

Here we are some weeks later and the squash struggles through, spuds made a come bag, teh beans which were brown and frazzled I restarted in pots in the greenhouse- and they have recovered all but one (too omany beans now duh) and finally teh real triumph, the tomaotes which I hadn't bothered covering and hadn't watered since as it's obvious they are dead (and we've had a month of no rain here) yes half have sprung back to life! :sunny:

Well good old mother nature eh :flower:

Ah I expect it will be month till I get time to write again, knew I should never have changed jobs, perks are good though- free horse riding holidays
