There are four brothers in this world that were all born together. The first runs and never wearies. The second eats and is never full. The third drinks and is always thirsty. The fourth sings a song that is never good

Cheating huh  Well fair enough I was hoping that there are no serial killers on here. Incidently the only person I know to have got that one right within seconds used to show off about it. It transpired that he is indeed a very suspect individual.

Anyway, clue for the albatross one and a big clue. He was once shipwrecked.

well okay ship wrecked
sailors believe the albatross is the bird of lost souls at sea and it's bad luck to kill them but if he thought that then he wouldnt of orderd it would he so the other option is that he thought he had eat albatross soup when ship wrecked but then when he ate it the second time he new he had n't so he must of eaten some one he knew with out realising it and then when he found out the truth he felt seriously yucky poo and topped him self

Mary!
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Got it! He was shipwrecked there were 3 of them and they were all starving. One died of starvation the same day that they caught an albatross (I know unlucky). They decided that it would be best if they both thought they had eaten albatross so they prepared human and albatross soup. One survived on the albatross and the other human. Realising that he had eaten a great friend and ship mate he could no longer live with himself.

I am impressed with how quickly you got that one.

A train leaves Edinburgh for London, 500 miles away, at midnight. It travells at 50 mph. At 5.00 am another train leaves London for Edinburgh, the other way along the same route. This train is travelling at 100 mph. Which one is nearest to London when they pass?

They are passing each other so they are both the same distance from London... unless... when the front of the trains pass each other the rear of the London to Edinburgh train is nearer London.

Andy can you explain why the 2 men didn't just eat albatross soup? those things are pretty darn big, I'd imagine that it would be preferable only cook one soup as there was probably not a great deal of fuel. Also the energy that they must have expended de-boneing and cooking both a human and an albatross must have made each of them very hungry indeed... it doesn't make alot of sense to me :? Were there no fish in the sea that they could have caught? I dare say they could have found something edible on the land where they had been shipwrecked, they really should have paid more attention to Ray Mears. Aaah there's a lesson in there for all of us.

Clearly the collective wisdom of SS-ish (with a bit of help from google) cannot be beaten.

But just imagine that you have two wine glasses, each with an identical amount of wine in them. One has red wine in it, the other has white wine.

You take a teaspoonful out of the red wine glass and put it in the white wine glass, and stir it up so that there is now a mixture in this glass. Now you take a teaspoonful of this mixture and put it back into the red wine glass.

Does the white wine contain more red wine, or the red wine contain more white wine?

They both wanted to think that they were NOT eating human. the albatross would have lasted both of them less time than one person and they would have both died.

Muddy - It depends on the train company. If it is a virgin train then it will be canceled and everyone will have to get on the next train. That will then be delayed due to the time it takes everyone to get on and overcrowded so that will slow it down too.
