Ditto hamster! I talk about forum people as "friends" but then hastily explain who or what I mean, ie a forumer and then promptly feel daft cos they may think I'm a techno-nerd without RL friends! But I do see people I meet on forums as friends: I join the forum because it is like minded people, who think and feel the way I do and get on MUCH better with them than people I am forced to mingle with in real life simply because they live in the same area I do.
