Yes you have to watch out, over here (Spain) they sell pasta with egg, as some kind of extra special choice. As we have vegans in the family, it can make normal vegan cooking a nightmare. Try getting vegan Pesto, impossible, the ol' Iberian Peninsular is not very freindly to non-meat and dairy people.

Can anybody explain what a battery egg is? I have been eating Cream eggs every year since i was a kid. I would like to know what ive been injesting all this time. They are soo good though.

Battery eggs come from battery hens... hens cooped up in small cages, one on top of another, on top of another, on top of another... thousands to a 'factory'
The birds have never felt the sun on their backs or the grass under their feet, they have so few feathers you might have to be told that it is in fact a chicken.
