# The technology has a coefficient of performance greater than 100%.
# The operation of the technology (i.e. the creation of energy) is not derived from the degradation of its component parts.
# There is no identifiable environmental source of the energy (as might be witnessed by a cooling of ambient air temperature)

<sigh> - I should know better than to reply.
In that case, we're all in big trouble. Energy that comes from nowhere means that global warming will be uncontrolable; the temperature of the planet, indeed the whole universe, will continue to rise infinitely; entropic decay is impossible; molecular activity will increase forever.
What you have amounts to something infinitely beyond the power of the largest imaginable nuclear reaction. It means that the energy (heat) that we can release is infinite. And to think that all this can be brought about by a device of simple weights and pulleys.
Crisis? What crisis? Mind, I though it was gettuing a little warm around here.
Right. Now, does anyone know how I can set up an 'ignore thread' feature on this forum like I can on a newsgroup?

Yeah - bored. Lock the thread, Dave! The energy equivalent of gardening in cut-down milk cartons standing on old pallets. Oops - *slaps hand* - bad Hedgie!

What's that? You've obviously never heard of LETS!Muddy wrote:Think of it as a form of economics - you can only spend the money (energy output) that you have earned (energy input).

yep this has gone on too long and we have all wasted a lot of time on it, time indeed to lock it.
