Peapod Burgundy? Can it be done?

Been scouring around for a recipe for peapod wine (can't find one :( ) as the compost heap is groaning from the weight of the pods i've been shoving on it! And in this heat, a glass or two would go down a treat! It doesn't have to be burgundy, a nice Shiraz would do!! Any ideas please?

Try here ...

All of the others I can see on the net are just copies of this or are throwbacks to the bad old days of "chuck some sugar and yeast at it and wait".

Personally, I think the pods would be better on the compost, but you never can tell

Pea pods or overgrown mange tout also make smashing pea pod soup.

With an onion, a potato and some veggie stock, cooked and blitzed, yummie!

I made a batch last year. It's not bad, but not great either. It's got a kind of gingery flavour to it. Drinkable, but it's useful being quite tight beforehand. :king:
