Did anyone read the telegraph on Sunday?
Here is the rest of the pieceFamilies across the UK are swapping surplus food and drink, personal possessions, their skills – and even their homes – with each other in a bid to save money......
.....Andy Hamilton, the author of the Selfsufficientish Bible, said people were opting to barter because they no longer had any faith in money.
"I think a bit of the wartime spirit is coming back. I think in the last few weeks the reason why people barter has changed dramatically," he said.
"A Lot of people simply do not regard money has being stable anymore. There has been a massive shift in how people perceive it. They don't regard it as solid or secure anymore."
