Would it be possible...

... to enable or install an icon which tells you which posts you've posted in as I frequently get lost in the 'welcome' forum and end up going through the top posts to see if I've posted in them as I have a brain like a sieve.

good lord.. no idea - would be handy though.. as I started to forget who i said welcome to after a while.. when lots of people were joining... I'll draw thsi to attention of the forum man - John headstrong

Do you use the 'view new posts' option on the right hand side of the page? That's the easiest way to keep on top of all the new posts (well it's the way I do it
)

There's also "view your posts" - I look in there if there's someting I'm particularly hoping will get a response.

I know about them but when you're looking at the welcome section and you look at new posts it shows new posts since you last posted so will bring up posts you've posted in and the other one would just show me the posts I had posted in and not the ones that I had not... if you see what I mean :D
I know it's possible to have an icon for posts you've posted in to show up as I have seen it on many other boards... but I do appreciate John is busy so I'm not in any hurry for a reply or anything

new posts that you have posted in
no new posts
no new posts in a thread you have posted in
it is just a small orange dot that appears when you are part of the thread, but I know that if a subject is "hot" (spinning icon) the orange dot does not appear. all the icons are recycled from the old version of the board.
I know that sometimes on some screens they are hard to see if the screen is very bright or if the contrast is off.
I try not to change to many things in the forum, some people dislike change and I end up spending 10X more time justifying the changes than the changes take to make!
but if it is bugging people I will make the icons clearer.

Whoops... D'oh! I never noticed that and I usually pick stuff like that up really well although it is in all honesty really hard to see...
