hello what is the average allotment price....

do you have a allotment and if you don't mind me asking how much do you pay...

Allotment prices vary across the country, with some people paying silly rates like £5 for a year, and others paying £80 or £90.

On our site, a 5 rod plot (which is what they call a half-sized plot) cost us £20.something pence for 2008-9.

There are sometimes concessions for elderly people, and I believe in some areas there are concessions for unwaged and people on low incomes.

Don't the actual size of my lottment but not big and is classed as" single"
costs me £15.00 a year that has risen by a pound a year thus far

Hello Mr. Moon, My allotment is 12 metres by 10 metres and costs £25 a year,the price has stayed the same for 3 years. Our landlord is a private landowner pbf

I think a lot of them were about £30 odd pounds plus a subscription but all the ones close to me aren't putting anyone else on the waiting lists for the time being. Here's a link to the council website;

well thanks all am i was just wondering

my aunty have 3 allotments but put into one, and i asked her about herss...
well she said for me to go down and have a look today, so i did "i loved it"
so she gave me a key and said come and go as a please and grow what i what were i want so am made up..
she has let it all over grown... you no for crop rotation... so today i went and its all over grown we spent 2-3 hours there and am going back tomorrow......

oh i am the worst part about it is, its a 15 min bike ride to the alotments, its across this nature backfield path thing..
which can be scary and cold..
but i have plenty of exercise and plenty of gardening so am happy...

I don't have one hun, that's why I'm giving those seeds away! I've not been able to grow food on that scale since my grandad had to sell his house to mjove into his bungalow. We did miss it. But I have four little balconies that are big enough to put pots on. This year, I'm also taking advantage of the windows in work too. Two of my colleagues and I have decided to plant herbs and vegetables around the windows in work because the front of the building is glass fronted and gets tons of light. Just know all the watering and so on is gonna be my responsiblity, since I'm the dogsbody *ahem* I mean technician.
