I think I know the answer to this already but its worth a try...
Apart from fencing which will cost us loads.... and poison/traps which I couldnt use, is there any way to stop rabbits munching my veggies.... someone suggested placing mothballs around the perimeter as they dont like the smell.... any ideas ?

A shotgun or air rifle... then you could have bunny stew. Not sure I could do it, but it seems the most reasonable.

I couldnt do it.... plus hubby doesnt like rabbit meat.... we also live in Portugal and rabbits come under the hunting law and the season is October to end of Feb.... trouble is you never see them then.... come the first of March they all start having parties in my garden.... The local old man who used to shoot here doesnt seem to find any all winter....

I'm told dirt oil and kerosine also keep them away but in additioan to fencing I think. The fencing needs to be buried to stop them digging under and apparently if it's wire curve it outwards. Its better if it's not see-through, like tin, seems to discourage them.
Some around our way hang dead rabbits over the fence to put them off, bit smelly though!

Failing that- Jack Russels!!
