I'm a fleece-a-holic!!

What am I going to do with me?!
Recently I treated myself to a lovely new spinning wheel. I already have one but this new one I have wanted for over 25 years! I lacquered it and then put it together and am thrilled. It is beautiful.
Anyway. I have three large fleeces in the garage waiting to be sorted. I have even more carded fleece waiting to be spun. Some coloured and carded fleece I ordered came today and I have just ordered some more! I have to stop or I won't be able to get round to spinning them! I'm sure some of you may be able to 'whiz' through this amount of fleece but I have too many projects on the go!
I need to finish a Honiton lace sampler before the term starts again in September. I am making a christening robe for my granddaughter. I am knitting a cardigan and the rest of my time is taken up with my music! Housework? Well.......!
Well, I will never be bored!

Best of luck

Sounds familiar: I've got three fleeces somewhere around the house, plus a few bags of cashmere... And I can't even spin, nor do I have I a wheel!

Yay

I just made a diddy one from a wooden toy wheel and a wooden crochet hook (plus a few tiny hair elastics) - in hopes that I won't lose that crochet hook again

lol it can be my travel one, when spun I can then crochet it into something

I've got a Jacob and Blue Faced Leicester to do :) Once people know you'll take them they seem to appear :) Which is OK by me! Just got to practice the spinning.

Oh - I've got a drop spindle somewhere, and I can borrow a wheel - now I just need space in the house and time...

(Believe me, being unemployed is bloody time consuming.)
