Hi everyone, I'm new to this site so I'm sorry if this topic has already been posted - I did a search and couldn't find it. I'd like electricity-free ideas of things to do instead of watching the tv!

I don't have telly - so everything I do would come under this heading!

I temporarily have a tv but hadn't had one before that for 5 years and this one is going in a couple of weeks as I never watch it.
Here are a few more although they might require some light to see what you are doing but they don't need any more electricity.
3. Read a book
4. Make something
5. Play a board game

Hello! I'm definitely heading in that direction, I'm sick of my tv and the way it eats my time!

we have a TV but the nearest I get is to dust it - it's rarely on out of football season

19. learn to play an instrument
20. invent a game! (we did this on holiday once and it was heaps of fun)

30. housework - lol, who am i kidding
31. make endless lists of all the things you need to do around the house/ garden etc (then lose them so's you can repeat this endlessly
)

Unless watching football, then t.v. is a large dust-trap.
