Never being a gooseberry grower I have no real idea of what a gooseberry plant looks like. So I went to wilkos this afternoon and bought what I thought was a gooseberry plant. It was not it was a Pepino Gold plant :knob:

Still it is a fruit that I have not tried before and it seems pretty easy to grow as long as I keep it in a pot and remember to keep it indoors when it is below 5c. Anyone had any experience with Pepino Gold?

Have never heard of it before but just googled it and it looks like a beauty!! Not much info on the UK sites though.

Let us know how well it does.

Sounds wonderful and more interesting and tasty than a gooseberry! The sort of plant for a conservatory or heated greenhouse though.
