ADG, you are a bit of a distance and I'm off to France at the moment, so won't be able to make it in a hurry - but I'm up for it one weekend.

I must say your photos are amazing...
do you eat the rabbit? Do you use the pelts? or do you give them away?
I remember Stoney (a crofting member who's posts are few and far between these days) said it was too much effort to clean up the pelts but it is a lovley fur, my sister used to have one
Just think how cosy your wellies would be, lined with rabbit fur.

Hi,
Interesting pictures. I used to have ferrets as pets. No need to go rabbiting, living in the suburbs.

Wouldn't it rather be the rabbits that colonize the odd places? I've never known ferrets to do much colonizing...

I'd definitely be interested in learning from you, we're just outside Peterborough in Ramsey and have a field that's heaving with rabbits :)
