Bit too far away I'm afraid, but I wrote to my MP and I've bookmarked your site to keep tabs, thanks. :thumbright:

Oooh, torn now! Got so much to do in the house tomorrow, but this is equally important.

May go, shall just have to work extra hard in the morning!

Shall write letters though :-)

Good luck!

Thank you everyone,

Saturday went well - thanks to all who came.

Next step - Tuesday 10th...

Would be great to see you there - even if you can't get an appt with your MSP (or representative) please come along and show your support.

If you can't come - please e-mail/write to your MSP and/or your MP anyway to raise awareness of the issue...

If you can come - ask for Claire (Mullein) - you'll find me - hopefully among the crowds...

I've had a letter back from my MSP saying as it's a UK-wide issue he can't do anything.

Hi,

it is and it isn't...

regulation of professions is a reserved issue (ie Westminster)

regulation of new professions (ie traditional medicine practitioners) is a devolved issue (ie Holyrood)

however - a consensus currently operates regarding the ongoing process - we can still lobby our MSPs to ensure they represent our views on a devolved issue and carry them forward into the wider process.

hope that helps
