American Pawpaw (Asimina triloba)

Both appear to be doing well this year. There are many more leaves showing. One tree is in partial shade during part of the day, and the other is in full Sun.

Is it a wild Pawpaw or a selected cultivar
I have just grafted NC1, Prolific, Sunflower and Taytoo onto wild Pawpaw.
What temeratures has yours withstood. Any signs of flowers ?

Don't really know the answer to your question. I bought the bare root Paw Paw plant in Niagara Falls in 2007. It was about 3 feet tall and three years of age. So this is the sixth year for my two trees. This year there are many leaves and both plants are healthy. The first two years there were only three or four leaves, and growth was almost not discernible. No sign of flowers this year. The plants have withstood ground freezing of around minus 20 C.
