Duncton wood

I was wandering around my local charity shops when i came across this lovely book that i read many years ago, Duncton wood by William Horwood, i started reading it now i can't put it down.............. :icon_smile: :flower:

oh yes ... when I have a book clear out its one that goes bakc on my shelf ... even though ti turned yellow with age ... :icon_smile:

Brings back memories - it is a lovely read. I read it to my kids as well.

Wow that takes me back. My hubby couldn't understand how I could get so 'into' a novel about moles!
Don't know what I did with the book...........lost it in our library I guess!

How coincidental! I'm in the middle of reading this myself. It was the first "proper" book I read as a child and I loved it. I keep going back to it every year. Such a lovely story, definatly worth a read.
