Well it was a good little, council sponsered thingy me bob. A lot of stands offering solar/heat exchange stuff. A little green composting stuff. A lovely little chat from a lady about mulching. The gardens were open for free. A lovely walled garden that has been given to local folks to allotment. Some nice plants there. Bit too much Nasturtium for my liking but hey ho lol
We were given a card to get 3 stamps from around the show which meant we got 3 bags of free Norfolk compost. Anythings a bonus I say lol
All in all a good little thing
Next year should be a little bigger with a few more community things rather than commercials stalls !!!!!

I was there today too,
(me sporting a head of dreads, hubby hairy and beardy) with two small girls and a collie and a spaniel did you see us I wonder?, we went on recommendation of my work friend who's partner was there demonstrating. (Jack Wheeler - timber frame builder and sculptor)
It was a nice event, hubby was lusting over the mobile saw mills (he has a blossoming wood fuel business) and the girls had a nice time constructing bug houses. It was good that even though it was (cynically speaking) just about promoting business that are either responsible or ethical that it didn't feel too much like it, so that can't be a bad thing right?
We missed out on the compost as it had all gone by the time we left

Sorry that you missed out on the compost. I could have filled the car till the springs popped if I was allowed to lol We have a bug house too. I think the girls were very brave holding them as hammers were wielded !! Whereabouts are you guys then ? We're in Trunch. Been growing in garden mostly but now have allotment :-)

We are in Martham, just in from the coast at Winterton and Hemsby.
Allotment growers too, although ours could do with some well over due attention.
I know Trunch a bit, as I was brought up in Cromer, and had friends that way. But that was *ahem* 20 years ago now (surely I'm too young to say stuff like that I'm barely over 30??

!!)
