Well, Nev - I think it's "our" Grampians they haev in mind...

I'll see how it goes - depends on workload, weather etc. But would like to go, anyway.

We'll definitely try to get to that.

I also discovered a farm selling its own organic cheese about 2 miles away from my house. Will go down maybe tomorrow and see what it is like.

I went. Kept an eye out for any of you but didn't spot anyone. It was soooo busy. I got quite frustrated with it as I couldn't get near the stalls. Got some lovely burgers from Turriff which were made from cattle bred from a cross between normal beef cattle and highland cows, and got some stuff from the really garlicky company from Nairn and some homebakes to take to my Granda's.

We went too but didn't see you either though did run into Ina and Shirley inside whilst browsing..didn't hang around long as only went in for veg as the farmers market was - for want of a better word, terrible we treated ourselves to Barra Raspberries

Oh yes, it was so busy... Got some nice organic cheese from Ardesier, and tried all the beers that I could find! And we had some really garlicky garlic bread, too...

The farmers' market was on in Inverurie... though as many of the stalls that usually attend it were at the TOG I imagine it was a bit thin on the ground... how stupid to hold it in a separate place... surely it would have made more sense to move it to thainstone for that one day.

Mmm yes, the garlic bread was delicious and I would SO love to have one of those dualit machines he was cooking it on.

Ina... a little later on the guy from the black isle brewery had some bottles open!!! I didn't try because I'd already tasted quite a few and I was driving...

As for getting to the stalls.. yeah, it was rather busy wasn't it... and on occasions like this it doesn't pay to be too polite as noone else does.....

Did you see any of the displays?? The two fat laddies were fantastic... and Alan Coxon even better - never known such a knowlegeable chap... he even said that wild garlic is there at the side of some of our roads because of the vikings... who used to walk in amongst it to cool their hot and sweaty feet when they were working!!

Ref farmers market - No, they had the same stalls there (duplicated at TOG...).....just no stuff and poor quality.
